Snowboard Wax and Edge

This is our basic service. For this level of service boards should be in reasonable condition with no deep scratches, if there is more extensive damage we suggest a Full Service.

A Wax and edge will involve sanding the base, beveling the base edges, a sharpen of the side edge, then de-burr of the edges and detuning the tip and tail. Our technician will prepare the base using a cork finishing belt to provide a wax absorbing structure before hot waxing with a hand iron, scraping and polishing to finish.

We use wax from our local pals down in Glasgow, Datawax.  For touring we use Backcountry Wax and for all others we use their All-Mountain Wax.
